KATHY O'CONNOR, LCSW, ACSW., LMHP.

Kathy , is a psychotherapist and the founder and director of the Women's Therapy and Learning Center. Since 1979, Kathy has been gathering women together in workshops, support and psychotherapy groups, retreats, and college and university classroom settings.

She has obtained clinical training and supervision in Feminist Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy with an emphasis on eating disorders and sexual abuse in Manhattan, N.Y. and Philadelphia, Pa.; Object Relations Psychotherapy training in Washington D.C. and locally; Jungian Psychology in Chicago, IL. and locally; and Organization and Group Relations through AK Rice Institute Conferences.

Kathy has served as training consultant on women's mental health issues for several area organizations including the University of Nebraska, Boy's Town National Hotline, Diet Center, and Omaha area school districts. Currently, she divides her professional time among her clinical practice, offering clinical training and supervision, leading Wilderness Spirit Retreats in Northern Minnesota, and sharing in the administration of WTLC.

Kathy is a past member of the Administrative Board of Creighton University's Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
